The short answer

WCC installs business alarm systems on equipment you own, monitors them around the clock and verifies alarms on video so police respond faster. A small storefront or office typically runs $1,500 to $3,500 installed, with monitoring from about $40 a month.

How it works

From tripped sensor to police on the way

Most break-ins happen after hours, when nobody is there. An alarm only helps if someone is watching it and can prove it's real.

What's included

More than a panel on the wall

Every system is designed around how your business opens, closes and gets busy, and backed by people watching it 24/7.

24/7 monitoring. A UL-listed central station dispatching every day of the year.

Phone app. Arm, disarm and check status anywhere on the Alarm.com app, with per-employee codes and open and close reports.

Video verification. Pair cameras so operators confirm a real break-in, for faster police response and fewer false-alarm fines.

Panic buttons. Silent hold-up buttons at registers and reception.

Environmental alerts. Optional temperature, water and power-loss monitoring for coolers and inventory.

Window decals. Monitored-premises decals on every install, because most intruders skip buildings that look watched.

FAQ

Business alarm questions

How much does a business alarm system cost?

A small storefront or office typically runs $1,500 to $3,500 installed, with 24/7 monitoring from about $40 a month. Larger buildings, video verification and access control add to that. See the commercial alarm cost guide.

Am I locked into a long contract?

No decade-long lock-in. Monitoring terms are flexible, you own the equipment, and every option is laid out before you sign.

Can you take over my existing alarm?

Often, yes. Many existing panels can be moved onto our monitoring without replacing the system. We confirm during the free assessment. See alarm takeover.

How fast can you install?

Most small and mid-size business installs are scheduled within days of the assessment and done around your business hours.

Is the alarm monitored 24/7?

Yes. Systems report to a UL-listed central station with operators on duty 24/7, and verified alarms can be sent to 911 centers electronically through ASAP-to-PSAP where the city supports it.

Do I need an alarm permit?

Many Southern California cities, including Los Angeles, require an alarm permit and charge fees for repeated false alarms. We'll tell you what your city requires and help you avoid false-alarm fines with verification.

Do you install home alarms?

No. WCC installs and monitors alarms only for businesses: retail, offices, warehouses, restaurants, auto, cannabis, self-storage and similar.
