About WCC

Everyone has a tech contractor. Nobody likes theirs.

That was true in 2003 and it's still true. Contractors that show up on time, do the work right and answer the phone after the job closes are rare. WCC was built to be one.

Our story

Started with cabling. Built on what that work demands.

WCC launched in Chino in 2003 as West Coast Cable, doing structured cabling and fiber. In those trades, quality is measurable: every termination passes or it doesn't, every run is tested, and the job isn't done until the paperwork is. That discipline shaped everything we've added since.

Customers who saw that standard asked for more: wireless, cameras, switching, access control, managed services. We added each one only when the people, training and standards were in place, because a customer we already had needed it done right.

Today WCC has more than 80 people serving enterprise, government and education, healthcare and commercial real estate from offices in Chino and Torrance. Still family-owned, and in California still doing the work with our own crews.

Proven in the field

Where our reputation was made

From 2003 to 2007, WCC did network infrastructure work across more than 500 LAUSD schools. LAUSD is one of the hardest places in California to work, not because of the technology but because of everything around it: inspectors, documentation, prevailing wage compliance, hazardous material coordination, submittals at every phase and dozens of campuses at once. Finishing that volume of work to the district's standards opened doors that have stayed open for twenty years.

In the same years, WCC was the field installation crew for some of the largest national IT integrators, deploying their access points, switches and cabling at enterprise and government facilities across Southern California. See our projects.

What we learned

What working for the big integrators taught us

Do the work yourself

An integrator that hands off the install loses control of quality. Our California installations are done by WCC crews.

Documentation is part of the job

As-builts, test results and labels are deliverables, not overhead. Skipped paperwork becomes the next contractor's problem.

The building picks the platform

National integrators push what they resell. We match the platform to the site, which is why we install several brands in every category.

Standards show in hard places

Busy schools, live campuses and 24/7 facilities are where shortcuts get caught. That's where ours were built.

Who we serve

Commercial real estate

Owners, property managers and tenants, from base building to tenant improvements.

Warehouses and industrial

Distribution centers and manufacturing sites across the Inland Empire and beyond.

General contractors

Low-voltage subcontracting on new construction and renovation, from submittals to closeout.

How we work

What working with WCC looks like

  • Engineers scope the job. Estimates come from a site walk and drawings, reviewed by people who have installed the systems.
  • One team, every system. Cabling, network, Wi-Fi, cameras, doors and AV under one plan and one point of contact.
  • Tested and documented. Test results, labels and as-builts are delivered at closeout, not on request.
  • Platform-neutral. We install multiple brands in every category and recommend the one that fits your building.
  • We answer after closeout. Service, moves and changes, and managed services for clients who want ongoing support.
