The short answer
In a hospital, network downtime is a patient safety issue. WCC installs clinical Wi-Fi, cabling, cameras and access control around patient care, with clinical systems and medical devices segmented and camera placement that protects patient privacy.

Clinical realities
Why clinical infrastructure is different
Clinical systems can't go down. EHR, imaging, nurse call and monitoring all depend on the network.
HIPAA reaches the infrastructure. Segmentation, locked closets and camera policies support the Security Rule.
Medical devices keep multiplying. Devices that can't run security agents need network isolation.
Cameras need care. Pharmacy, entrances and parking need coverage; exam and patient rooms don't get cameras.
Infection control. Work in clinical areas follows the facility's containment and entry protocols.
What we install
Systems for clinical environments
| System | Healthcare focus |
|---|---|
| Wi-Fi | Seamless roaming for clinicians and devices, segmented from guests |
| Cabling and fiber | Certified Cat6 and Cat6A, campus fiber, MDF and IDF buildouts |
| Networking | Redundant uplinks and segments for EHR, imaging and devices |
| Security cameras | Entrances, parking, pharmacy and perimeter, never patient rooms |
| Access control | Medication rooms, supply rooms and IT closets, with audit logs |
| AV | Conference rooms, telehealth and waiting-room signage |

FAQ
Healthcare technology questions
What technology does WCC install for hospitals and clinics?
Clinical and staff Wi-Fi, structured cabling and fiber, network switching, security cameras, access control for medication rooms and restricted areas, and AV for conference rooms, telehealth and signage.
How do you avoid disrupting patient care?
Work is scheduled around clinical hours with nights, weekends and approved maintenance windows, infection control measures where required, and pre-staged cutovers communicated to clinical and IT staff in advance.
Is your work HIPAA compliant?
We build infrastructure that supports HIPAA Security Rule safeguards: clinical systems segmented from guest networks, access-controlled closets and camera placement that avoids patient care areas. HIPAA compliance itself is the organization's responsibility.
How do you handle medical devices on the network?
Many medical devices can't run security software, so we isolate them on their own network segments with access policies that limit what they can reach.
Can you standardize across multiple clinics?
Yes. We build one design for closets, Wi-Fi and security and roll it out the same way at every site.
Do you work in labs and clean rooms?
Yes. We install cabling and access control in labs and controlled environments, following the facility's cleanliness and entry protocols.
