Corning Fiber Installation in Southern California
Hire a local Corning-certified fiber team to design and deliver campus backbones, MDF/IDF uplinks, and data center trunking—fusion splicing, UniCam field terminations, labeling, and Tier 1 (OLTS) / Tier 2 (OTDR) certification—across Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino.
Why WCC
Why Corning with WCC
We engineer fiber plants that are fast, clean, and ready for future speeds—built to TIA-568.3-D and labeled to TIA-606-C. Our crews deliver neat pathways, bend-radius discipline, and thorough documentation, so operations are predictable long after turn-up.
Backbone & Trunking
Single-mode OS2 for campus/DC backbones and MTP/MPO trunks with cassette breakout for IDFs.
- OS2 for long runs & higher data rates
- MTP/MPO trunks with LC/SC cassettes
- Clean rack layouts & cable management
Terminations, Splicing & Certification
UniCam field connectors and fusion splicing where required, with OLTS/OTDR certification and labeled as-builts.
- UniCam LC/SC connectors & pigtail splicing
- Tier 1 (loss) & Tier 2 (traces) reports
- Labeling & documentation for serviceability

Fiber Builds We Deliver
From greenfield campuses to live upgrades, we coordinate with facilities, security, and IT to minimize downtime and ensure consistency across sites.
Campus Backbones
OS2 single-mode between MDF & IDFs; diverse paths and proper slack storage.
MDF/IDF Uplinks
MTP trunks with LC cassettes for neat cross-connects and fast turn-up.
Data Center Trunking
High-density MTP, harnesses, and labeled pathways for server/leaf rows.
Expansion & Cutovers
Nightly change windows, method-of-procedure, and rollbacks when needed.
Remediation
Re-terminate, clean/inspect, dress cabling, and update documentation.
Acceptance & Docs
OLTS/OTDR reports, link budget, labeling map, elevations & photos.

FAQ
Corning Fiber FAQs
Do you provide certification reports?
Yes. We deliver Tier 1 (OLTS) loss results and, when requested or specified, Tier 2 (OTDR) traces with link budgets, plus labeling maps and photos.
OM4 vs. OS2—how do we choose?
OS2 single-mode is best for long runs and higher data rates. OM4/OM5 multimode is efficient for short links and can support SWDM. We’ll size to distances and optics.
Can you work in live environments?
Yes. We schedule change windows, stage cutovers with clear rollbacks, and use temporary paths where needed to avoid downtime.
What connector types do you support?
LC and SC are most common; we also handle MTP/MPO for trunking. We use UniCam field connectors and fusion-splice pigtails as the design requires.
Do you handle cleaning & inspection?
Always. We follow inspect-before-connect practices and document remediation to maintain low loss and long-term reliability.
