FAQ

Free IT consultation questions

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. There's no cost and no obligation. A conversation about your environment is the only way for both of us to know whether WCC is the right fit, so we invest the time up front.

What happens during the consultation?

We talk through what's working, what isn't and what's coming, review your network, security, cloud setup and compliance needs at a high level, and identify the two or three changes that would matter most. If we meet at your office, we'll usually look at your server room or network closet too.

How long does it take?

A short call to set the agenda, then a 60 to 90 minute consultation at your office or by video. We follow up with a written summary of what we found and what we'd recommend.

Who is it for?

Southern California organizations thinking about switching IT providers, outgrowing internal IT, facing a compliance audit, planning an office move or worried about cybersecurity. It's also useful if you're planning cabling, Wi-Fi, cameras or access control for a new space.

Will you try to sell us something?

The consultation is about understanding your situation. If there's a fit, we'll follow up with a proposal. If there isn't, we'll tell you, and point you toward what we'd do in your position.

What if we're not ready to switch providers yet?

That's fine. Many organizations talk to us months before a contract renewal. The consultation gives you a benchmark for your current setup and a plan for when you're ready.
