Design patterns
Room Designs We Build
From huddle rooms to boardrooms, we size the Core, endpoints, amplification, and speakers; document standards; and make future rollouts repeatable.
Huddle (2–4)
Compact Core + USB ingest; simplified touch UI and auto-mute logic.
Small Rooms (4–8)
Core + NV video, table/ceiling mics; display control & auto-wake.
Medium Rooms (8–14)
Expanded I/O, mic arrays, dual displays; presets for different layouts.
Large / Boardroom
Distributed amps & zones; confidence monitors; advanced camera routing.
Divisible / Training
Room combine logic via control scripting; simple operator workflow.
BYOD & Hybrid
USB bridging and clear cable paths; safe power & device handoff.

FAQ
QSC / Q-SYS FAQs
Do you program Q-SYS Designer and integrate UC platforms?
Yes. We build project files with clear naming, presets, and logic; enable USB bridging for laptops where needed; and integrate room controls for common UC workflows.
How do you handle audio coverage and tuning?
We right-size mic and speaker counts, set gain structure, apply EQ and dynamics as needed, and verify coverage during commissioning with test playback and measurement.
Can you integrate third-party devices?
Yes—via Q-SYS plugins, GPIO/relays, RS-232, and IP control. Typical integrations include displays, microphones, lighting, shades, and occupancy sensors.
What about video routing and BYOD?
We use NV Series for networked video, define source/destination maps, and provide simple UI presets. For BYOD, we add USB ingest with clear cable paths and signage.
How are rooms monitored and updated?
We enable cloud monitoring where appropriate for inventory, status, and notifications, and document the update workflow for cores, panels, and endpoints.
What do we receive at handoff?
As-built drawings, project files, IP plans, port maps, labeled photos, and runbooks. We also deliver live admin walkthroughs and end-user training.
